The 'National Curriculum Outdoors - a complete scheme of work'
In place of their annual conference, Peninsula Research in Outdoor Learning (PRinOL) held a successful webinar on 27 January 2021 for which authors Sue Waite and Deborah Lambert were the opening speakers. The theme was ‘Success in 2020’ and over 120 people listened to ways we celebrate teaching and learning outdoors.
Recorded: 1 December 2020
Written by outdoor learning experts Sue Waite, Michelle Roberts and Deborah Lambert, this series of books shows teachers how to link curriculum objectives to progression. At this online session, hear from the authors themselves how the books evolved, the research behind the content, and how educators can use these to develop the outdoor learning at their schools.
Since the publication of the National Curriculum Outdoors series, co-author Deborah has been a guest keynote speaker and provider of conference and networking workshops at a variety of events across the country.
"You delivered really inspiring sessions for our teacher delegates and helped make the event a success."

Organisations in Italy, Spain, Sweden and the UK took part in a 3- year Erasmus+ funded ‘Natural Schooling project led by Deborah Lambert (WeST Learning Institute).
The value and impact of the Natural Schooling project is clearly evident in the data gathered and evaluated in the evaluation report written by Josie Cuffe (WeST Learning Institute) and advised by Sue Waite.. A free CPD programme of 5 key elements (written by Deborah Lambert and advised by Sue Waite) supports understanding of how a natural schooling approach can be developed in a school setting, using case studies from the Natural Schooling project, reflection on practice and current research.
